Stuck at the ToS Update Screen?

As announced Friday, we’re using the ToS Update dialog on login to spread the word about a potentially dangerous QuickTime exploit.

Some residents may find themselves unable to get past the ToS Update dialog.

If your window is stuck at “Loading…” and never gives you the “Continue” button,  please do this:

  • Hit “Cancel” to dismiss the ToS window and then close the subsequent “You must agree” alert box.
  • Open Preferences and flip to the “Web” tab.
  • You’ll see two buttons marked “Clear Now.”  Click them both.
  • Hit the “Connect” button to relog.

Please note, it may take the ToS message several seconds to render.
