Just wondering why Liasons keep posting tinyurls isntead of SLURLs.
Can’t be google-friendly.

Marv, SLurls are *loooong*. :O Got a betta, briefer way?

Hey George, sorry you had a nasty intro to SL with those particles, ugh, it can only go uphill!
October 6th, 2006 at 4:24 PM
Georgie, why did you make all the girls cry?
Welcome aboard =)

You seem to have upset a couple of griefers already.
Thanks

Hello!
Sorry for taking so long to reply! Still getting my feet wet in learning how to manage blogs and the like.
Thank you, it’s nice to be well-received!!! I hope I get a chance to help every one of you out in the upcoming weeks. (Hopefully, it will not involve Tubgirl… heh heh.)

A warm welcome aboard, George! w00t, your very first comment.
I don’t think any of us need to see Miss Tubgirl again. :O

*testingtesting* Will this comment work?
Hi all! Thanks so much for the reception!
While I get my feet wet learning things like blogs (exactly why my comment has taken so long to be made!) and all the fancy in-world technical stuff, I’ll be helping to answer resident questions, facilitate means for an end to griefing (how’s that for euphemisms?), and acting as a friendly go-between for major resident concerns and Linden Lab. You’ll likely be seeing me in the Live Help channel and flying about helping residents in whatever way I can.
Thanks, again, everyone! And be warned… my Linden bear is a little on the weird side!

OMG George please send me your bear, I’m in the “weird Linden bears club” too!

*gasp* The other comment went through! Well, you’ll get two (er, I guess that makes this ‘three’) “Hello, my name is” comments from me. No charge for the extra literature. Thanks again! (And thank you, Torley, for being my blog mentor!)

@ Torley.
I’m sure I can add something to SLOpenID’s location tracker to give people the ability to use none-butt ugly urls.
It’s generating SLURLs already, so there’s no reason I couldn’t do something like http://my.slopenid.net/Torley-Linden/picks/Pooley/1654/
Having “Pooley” in the URL would only be for usability- so the reader would have an idea of what sim the end SLURL goes to before they click it
(do note that you’d be able to configure SLOpenID to 302 to secondlife:// urls as well as SLURLs)

I’ve just been hanging out not getting anything done. What can I say? I’ve basically been doing nothing worth mentioning, but pfft. Not that it matters. Pretty much nothing exciting happening to speak of. I haven’t been up to much these days.

I’d love to have one . . belated as this request is. Pleassse?
